2011/12 Season Memberships

Your 2011/12 membership entitles you to free entry to every summer and winter Club race hosted by PMTC (18 in total). A free tech-shirt (or Polo top for an additional $15) will also be offered to all members as part of your membership. The Club also stages a number of free BBQs after select races, social nights during the year including an annual presentation night, subsidised racewear and Club clothing, and there are various give-aways during the season including vouchers to be spent at any of our Club sonsors’ businesses which are drawn at each race on the Calendar.
For all prospective members of the Port Macquarie Triathlon Club, it is strongly recommended you take the time to download &/or read the attached Membership Information Booklet for the upcoming 2011/12 season.

PMTC Members Information Book 2011-12
The booklet contains copies of our Course maps and Club location, it outlines the Club Grading Policy, Race formats and points-getting opportunities throughout the season, and also explains your responsibilities as a member of our Club.
Returning members are also urged to review the material contained in the booklet, which explains some of the changes that have occurred since previous seasons that you’ve raced with us.
How do I sign up?
2011/12 sees the first season in which it has become a mandatory requirement for all new or renewing PMTC members to also hold a current TA membership. You start at the brand new TA home page and you’ll find the link to “Join Triathlon Australia” there. The TA membership process is undertaken first. Once completed, you’ll receive a receipt page which provides you with the link to move on to complete your PMTC membership.
By becoming a TA member, you will also enjoy personal accident insurance coverage during any sanctioned race, or even while training for any sanctioned race – as well as being exempt from any 1-day licences to other Open Races in Australia. Check your entitlements and membership benefits at the TA website.

2011/12 PMTC Fees
The fee structure for PMTC has been modified slightly to reflect the subsidised rates we offered to TA members last season. In other good news, the price-points for the various TA membership types have also been reduced for the 2011/12 season. Check the TA website for details.

- Senior (>18yrs age) $60
- Junior (high school) $50
- Junior (primary school) $30
- Family Memberships $150
.
If your child is in primary school for 2011 and entering high school for 2012, they may pay the primary school rate of $30 for the entire season. Likewise, high school students finishing their HSC year in 2011 are entitled to pay the $50 rate, and we hope we still find you in Port Macquarie and keen to continue racing with us through 2012!
In relation to Family Memberships, PMTC has adopted the same principle as TA for 2011/12 in that any number of family members can be included within that membership fee of $150 (i.e. 1, 2, 3 or more children can all be included). Single parent families are also entitled to use that membership if its likely to provide you with a discount over individual memberships.
