CLUB COACHING
PMTC is primarily a "racing" club with the aim of providing a range of events for members to attend in the local area. In that regard, the focus of our committee is primarily to gain approvals necessary for these events, and to establish a volunteer community willing to assist in the staging of these races for its members.
The Port Macquarie and Hastings area benefits from a number of private coaches and training providers who are keen to assist those budding triathletes wanting to take their skills to another level. To that end, PMTC will offer opportunities for coaching and training camps in collaboration with these local training providers for any interested members, with a particular emphasis on those new to the sport. The Club's philosophy is to place importance on competitors learning what they can early rather than making mistakes, developing bad habits and thus affecting their racing and enjoyment of the sport.
