After the post-ponement of the original fund-raising swim, Andrew & Tania are doing a further fundraiser for Caleb and the challenge is to swim a double crossing of the Catalina Challenge they're doing in August in California. The distance is 66km and they are looking for as many swimmers to do some laps and reach the target of 66km.
The swim-a-thon is to be held on the 6th August, with access to the Olympic Pool and a few lucky door prizes with a Sausage Sizzle. The event is in aid of raising funds for Caleb who is a local young lad with a stage 4 Brain Tumour that has to travel to Sydney fortnightly for treatment. The funds will provide some much needed funds to improve his quality of life during this time.
We hope you can look at getting few of the club members together on the day and raise some money and have attached the flyer and sponsorship form.
Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask
