Race 1 of the PMTC Summer Series of Triathlon races kicks off this Sunday, 9th October. Generously sponsored by Enriched Health Care, this race is the perfect introduction to Triathlons, with the Club offering free entry to the race as a "Come n Tri" for any brand newcomers to the sport.
The courses on offer include a full distance race featuring a 600m swim, 18km bike, and 5km run, and a half-distance option. We will also have a race for our young juniors (10yrs+) which includes a 50m swim, 6km bike and 1.5km run. Racing kicks off for the juniors at 6.50am sharp, with the seniors away 10 minutes later at 7.00am.
You must be down at the marshalling area at McInherney Park between 6.15am-6.45am to register for the event. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PERMITTED TO RACE!
Regular athletes, make sure you've formally re-signed with the Club and Triathlon Australia for your annual membership before this weekend's race. If you've raced with PMTC any time previously (even if you've had a year or 2 off), you must have renewed your membership before being permitted to race with us again. But we'd love you to bring your newbie friend down for a free "Come n Tri" this weekend!
